Washington, MO – Daniel Tobben, VP, Director of Deposit Operations with Bank of Washington in Washington, MO, graduated from the Missouri Bankers Association’s Banking Leadership Missouri program during the organization’s 135th Annual Convention.
Daniel was among 21 bankers from throughout Missouri who completed MBA’s 12-month leadership development program designed to actively enhance the leadership, organizational and performance skills of highly motivated mid- to upper-level bankers. Courses focused on emerging bank issues, government relations, ethics, leadership styles, workplace culture and communications. Banking Leadership Missouri establishes a network of future bank leaders who can respond to local and national issues affecting the banking industry and their communities.
“Through Banking Leadership Missouri, Tobben developed a deeper understanding of the issues affecting the banking industry,” said MBA President and CEO Jackson Hataway. “Tobben is a leader in his community, and he is among the next leaders in his bank and our association.”

In addition to being a member of the Missouri Bankers Association - Young Bankers Leadership Division, Tobben has been consistently involved in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, serving as captain of the Bank's team. He also coaches St. Francis Borgia Grade School boys soccer and is a member of the local chapter of Knights of Columbus. Tobben and his wife Rachel are members of St. Francis Borgia Parish and live in Washington with their three children, Peter, Ryan and Beau.
