During select promotional periods, when you open and fund a Heroes account, we’ll donate $5 to a featured charity aligned with a specific hero classification - whether it's military, emergency response, health care, law enforcement, or education.

March: The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital
This March, for every new Heroes Account opened and funded, we’ll donate $5 to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, whose mission is to help donors enrich lives, save lives, and transform health care through charitable gifts. .
The Heroes Account is available exclusively to:
- Military
- Emergency Responders
- Health Care
- Law Enforcement
- Education

The Promotion Details
Promotion Period:
Offer valid from March 1 - 31, 2026.
Donation Details:
For every new Heroes Account that is opened and funded during the promotional period, the Bank of Washington will donate $5 to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Eligibility:
Offer applies only to new Heroes Accounts opened by active or retired individuals from one of the following professions: the military, emergency response, health care, law enforcement, or education who are not currently Heroes Account holders. Account must be funded with a minimum opening deposit of $25 by March 31, 2026, to qualify. Limit one Heroes Account for each customer. Limit one donation per new account. Charity Registration & Partnership:
Donations made under this promotion are not tax-deductible by the account holder.
Transparency Statement:
This is a charitable sales promotion. No portion of the account holder’s deposit or fees will be donated. The $5 donation is made solely by Bank of Washington and does not affect account terms or conditions.
