"What attracted me to Bank of Washington was the combination of its community focus, the opportunity to be part of the Clayton expansion, and the people behind the organization. Working for a bank that can make decisions locally, find creative solutions, and move at the pace our customers demand was especially appealing," stated Purdy.

Purdy and his wife, Emily, live in Kirkwood with their three children, Rush, Liam, and Scarlett. He also plans to become actively involved with the University of Michigan Alumni Club of St. Louis.

"To me, community banking is relationship banking. It's about knowing the people and businesses you serve, being accessible and responsive, and earning the trust to become a valued advisor,” said Purdy. “I look forward to building strong relationships throughout Clayton and West County and serving as a trusted partner for our customers and communities by providing the right solutions, meaningful connections, and sound advice."
