Eckelkamp Named Outstanding Young Professional

William W. "Billy" Eckelkamp, Jr., 32, is an associate attorney with the law firm of Eckelkamp Kuenzel LLP, Washington. He has worked as an associate for three years and an attorney the last two years.
"Billy has an MBA degree, as well as a law degree, and clearly set out on a path to prepare himself to play a leadership role in the various Eckelkamp enterprises," said Steven P. Kuenzel Sr., managing partner, who nominated Eckelkamp for the Outstanding Young Professional Award.
"To further that education, he is on an educational path within our law firm to become knowledgeable in a vast array of legal areas, which will better prepare him for the roles that he will play within the family business," Kuenzel added. "At present, Billy is the only third-generation Eckelkamp to have both MBA and law degrees."
Kuenzel said Eckelkamp has the ability to analyze legal and business problems and quickly work toward a resolution that is practical and easily communicated to others.
"Billy has developed a good working relationship with not only other attorneys, but also the employees of the various Eckelkamp businesses," he said.
Eckelkamp earned an undergraduate degree in finance banking and real estate in 2006, his MBA in 2010 and law degree in 2014, all from the University of Missouri- Columbia.
Outside of work, Eckelkamp is a member of the Washington Elks Club, Washington Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Washington Boat Club and Lambda Chi Alpha Housing Corporation.
He also is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and Franklin County Bar Association, and is chairman of the Missouri Liberty project.
