Upgraded Online Banking

9/19/17
We are excited to announce an updated look and feel to our Online Banking website!
Some of the new technology features include:
  1. The entire site is built using responsive design - meaning that the screen will automatically adjust the screen to whatever type of device you are using!
  2. The redesign of the 'Home' page focuses attention on the actions that users most often perform. Now, you can easily access the most important account information and initiate common tasks straight from this page.
  3. You can customize the list of accounts that appear on the 'Home' page. These customizations include – nicknames for accounts, accounts you want to show or hide, and list the order of how the accounts display.
  4. When accessing the ‘Transfers’ link from the 'Home' page within the account list, it will pre-fill the 'From' account – saving a step when initiating these types of transactions.
  5. From the 'Home' page, you can now click the ‘Recent’ link associated with the account in the account list to access the last 10 transactions available for that account.
  6. On the 'Accounts' page, you can select ‘Details’ which displays the account’s ‘Scheduled, Pending and Posted’ transactions. You also have the ability to filter the list to display certain types of transactions.
  7. Within the 'Accounts' page, the right hand side of the screen now provides to ability to search for a specific transaction. You just need to input the amount and check number or date range to view the requested transaction.
  8. Within the 'Accounts' page, you will now find your eStatements as well.  Simply click on the 'Documents' tab within the account.
  9. The 'Profile' link at the top right of the site will now be where you can customize your personal preferences, such as your password, email, phone, etc, and you can also sign up for eStatements here!

Update: 9:00am, 9/23

Both of the Bank of Washington iPhone and iPad apps have now been updated in the Apple Store! iOS 8 users should no longer experience any difficulties. Thank you for your patience!

Update: 9:30am, 9/18

Currently, the Bank of Washington updated app for iOS 8 is still waiting to be approved through Apple. If you are running an earlier version of iOS, our app will still function appropriately. However, if you have upgraded your device to iOS 8, the app will not work. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, and we are relying on Apple to pass the app through their approval process. As soon as it is approved, we will inform everyone. Fortunately, the app has been with Apple for some time already and we should be close to the top of their list. Again, thank you for your understanding!

Update: 2:00pm, 9/17

Access to the Bank of Washington App has been fully restored. After identifying the cause of the issue, Apple and our app provider updated a few technical specifications. The issue was related to the Apple iOS 8 release that is occurring today. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused, and appreciate your patience as the problem was being resolved. It is fixed!

Previous Story, 9/17

With the release of Apple’s new iOS 8 release today, we have identified an issue with our app through Apple. Apple and our app provider are working on a resolution as quickly as possible. The app is suggesting to customers to download a new version of the app and continues to loop the customer around to the same message. Please know, you may still login to view your accounts through our Online Banking system through this website. Additionally, this is not affecting any Android devices. We will keep you updated on any status change with our iOS apps. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
