Washington, MO – Recently, St. Francis Borgia Regional High School’s Athletic Association presented our own Leonard Marquart with the Ralph Lause No. 1 Fan of the Year Award!! This award is given to people who display the qualities that exemplify lifelong dedication to athletic programs at Borgia. Leonard was so surprised to receive the award and was tricked into going to the awards banquet while busy volunteering for another community event!

Leonard, we are so proud of you!! Congratulations! Thank you for all that you do for the community and the bank.

President Buzz Eckelkamp Participates in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Main Street

Published: August 22, 2014

Washington, MO – Bank of Washington President, Buzz Eckelkamp, was challenged to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. He accepted, and challenged the bank employees to raise as much funding as they could in 24 hours for the opportunity to pour a bucket of water from the 5th floor balcony of the bank on to him while he stood on Main Street! He endured seven buckets total - one for each branch, and one for the 50/50 winner who donated her winnings back to the cause (plus a few extra secret buckets at the end)! Some employees had great aim, some left Buzz dancing in the rain! In just 24 hours, employees raised $1,944.25 for ALS!
